Julianne Hammond
BCom (Marketing) (UNSW). Accredited NMAS Mediator (The College of Law). Accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (The College of Law). Founder Equate Mediation.
My career accelerated quickly after I joined The Coca-Cola Company in Sydney, Australia. The next fourteen years would see me working in the US, Japan and Hong Kong (this post included China Taiwan and Macau). I experienced different cultures, learnt to look at issues from different perspectives. I loved building a team, identifying opportunities to make things better - the systems, brands, businesses and most importantly the people.
I've raised a family, I've volunteered in the community. I became an Executive and Business Coach and more recently an accredited NMAS Mediator and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner.
I love to truly listen, to understand what's really being said. Growing up my father used to say, 'there's usually three sides to a story, two sides plus the truth which is somewhere in the middle.' I'm open minded and impartial. The incredible journey that is life with its ups and downs has increased my tolerance, resilience and compassion.
Through my Executive Coaching and life journey I have observed that many people struggle to resolve conflict either because they don't have the skills, they're dealing with a difficult person or situation, or, because they let their emotions get in the way. This is normal and understandable. Often it means though, that relationships end before they need to, or people live with unnecessary anger and resentment. My goal is to help as many people as I possibly can to resolve conflict, learn conflict management skills, help make the world a more peaceful and productive place. This is my passion and my purpose. I will go the extra distance with you to help resolve disputes, improve relationships, get better outcomes.
